street walker god

blessed humanity,

i wantder through these streets,

calling out your name,

but you hide inside your buildings

locked behind your walls,

so afraid

when there is none to fear,

i call

longing for an opening, the crack

of a door, so that you might glimpse

at last who I am

so that I might rush

to fill your empty rooms

to clean your cluttered closets

to pull out long lost treasure
