why fear

child why fear you love when life is such a miracle, yet you behold the wonder of the gift surely as a trap, a lure perhaps that i’ve devise, some test of loyalty, and so you look away away from the revelation of my love, my self, and so away from me. oh how i long for you to see me, to open up the gift and see me. touch me, taste me, feel me, hold me. but you toss my gift aside as if its touch may burn and rush into your corner wailing warnings to your brother. why would love give a gift that burns? who do you think i am?

 2. i wonder what has happened here. where have you learned love cruel ? these tears of mine reflect your fear-fraught gaze, but i shall quiet be and wait, for trust to fill the void, and draw you from your fear into my arms
